Arsenal, Man City dominate the PFA Player of the Year nomination

EPL champions Manchester City and second-spot club Arsenal dominated this year’s PFA’s Player of the Year award.

The Players themselves are expected to vote for who merits the award from the six-person shortlist.

A look at the shortlist showed three players from treble winners Manchester City made it and they are Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones.

Arsenal, who were the Premier League title runners-up, had two players on the list and they are Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.

Harry Kane, who recently completed a switch over to German club Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, also made the six-man list.

According to the report, this year’s winner of the award will be announced on August 29.
