Arsenal linked with moves for former Chelsea defender

The recent report has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants the club to make a move former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori.

TBR Football (via Football Transfers) reported that Arteta is determined to boost his defense with a new player and he is an admirer of Tomori, who currently plays for Italian club AC Milan.

It was further reported that Arsenal have already gotten in touch with AC Milan over a potential deal that would see the England star switch to Emirates Stadium.

However, Arsenal would face competition from German side Bayern Munich, who are also interested in Tomori.

Recall that Tomori made it to the limelight through Chelsea’s youth academy to the first- team in the 2019-2020 season under former manager Frank Lampard.

Before his exit from Stamford Bridge, the 26-year-old made 27 senior appearances for the Blues.

He was sold to Milan in 2021, after being denied regular playing time at Chelsea.
