Arsenal are currently going through a tough phase, after failing to qualify for any European competition in a decade, the Gunners have lost their first two Premier League matches.

Mikel Arteta’s side were beaten by Premier League newcomers Brentford in their first match of the season before Chelsea outclassed them at Emirates Stadium.

With some fans calling for the sack of Mikel Arteta, others has insisted that it’s time their technical director, Edu leaves the club.

According to a new report, Arsenal are now considering this as they’ve listed four people that might replace Edu.

Marc Overmars who is currently the director of football at Ajax is reportedly the first man on the list, according to Daily Express.

The report also claims that Ralf Rangnick and former Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo are also on Arsenal’s shortlist.

Arsenal fans have been skeptical of Edu’s performance in the transfer window.

Edu approved a £27m deal for William Saliba, who is still yet to play for Arsenal and is now back in France for a third loan spell, he also brought in David Luiz and Willian from Chelsea.

All together, during Edu’s reign Arsenal have spent a combined total of nearly £100m on David Luiz, Pablo Mari, Gabriel Magalhaes and Ben White.
