Another defender linked with move away from Old Trafford

Amid the reports linked Man Utd defender and former captain Harry Maguire with a move away from the club this summer, a recent report has revealed Eric Bailey could also be on his way out soon.

This comes as the club manager, Erik ten Hag is said to have given permission for Eric Bailly’s contract to be terminated.

A report via RMC revealed the Red Devils are set to sell the Ivorian defender for nothing this summer amid interest from Fulham and Saudi Arabian clubs.

Erica, 29-year-old, moved to Man Utd from Villarreal in 2016 but has made only 70 Premier League appearances in six seasons at Old Trafford.

Last season, the defender was sent out on loan to Marseille, but the Ligue 1 club showed no interest in making his move permanent.

Man Utd are willing to take the financial hit and allow the defender to leave the club on a free transfer.
