West Ham have reportedly been linked with moves for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher and hope to see the deal happen before the summer window closes.

A report via The Sun claimed that the Hammers manager, David Moyes is keen to secure a loan transfer for the energetic England midfielder.

However, West Ham will have to compete with the likes of Newcastle and Crystal Palace, who have also taken interest in the Blues midfielder.

Despite this, Moyes is said to be eager to add the 22-year-old football star into the heart of his team.

West Ham’s move for Gallagher comes after they had already signed Chelsea left-back defender Emerson Palmieri.

Chelsea will have to decide on whether Gallagher would be allowed to leave this summer on a loan transfer.

The reports revealed the Hammers handed Emerson a four-year permanent deal which he gladly accepted having struggled to break into theBlues’s first team.
