West Ham United are said to be working on bringing back Juventus midfielder Denis Zakaria to the EPL as a replacement for Arsenal-bound Declan Rice.

It is no longer news that Rice is set to be a Gunners player this summer after the North London club took it upon themselves to splash millions on him.

Zakaria who was on loan at Chelsea last season barely played during his time at the club before he was sent back to his parent club at the end of last season.

But a report by The Sun revealed West Ham reckon Zakaria’s defensive qualities can help make up for Rice, who is all set to join Arsenal this summer.

The report also added that the Old Ladies are happy for Zakaria to move on this summer and this could be a permanent switch for him.

Should the Hammers get the deal done, Zakaria would get enough game time that could see him shine in the EPL.
