Why this Arsenal left back needs to leave this summer
Arsenal left back defender Kieran Tierney has been advised to consider a move away from the club for the sake of this career growth.
This is according to BBC Sport pundit, Kenny Miller, who described Tierney as a world-class defender that needs to play regularly.
Tierney didn’t get enough game chances last season at Arsenal as manager Mikel Arteta preferred to start Oleksandr Zinchenko over the Scottish star.
“I think he probably needs to now [leave Arsenal]. When he plays, he is a world-class left-back.
“To play regular football, he probably needs to step away from Arsenal.
“There will be lots and lots of teams that will take him. He will have loads of potential suitors. He is too good to sit as part of a squad,” Miller said.
There are yet to be reports on interest for Tierney this summer, which means he could remain at the Emirate stadium for another season.
