Arsenal will return to action tonight in the UEFA Europa League where they will play against Dundalk.

The Gunners have however, suffered an injury blow ahead of the match as Manager, Miikel Arteta, has confirmed that their summer signing, Thomas Partey, will be unavailable on Thursday evening due to a fresh injury.

Arteta revealed that Partey got injured again in the same area ahead of the Dundalk clash.

The Ghanian player, however walked over to the touchline when Harry Kane score the goal that put Tottenham 2-0 up after which he was replaced by Dani Ceballos.

“He [Thomas Partey] got injured in the same area, not exactly the same spot but the same area as before,” Arteta was quoted by Arsenal’s official website as saying.

The manager revealed that Partey will miss the next few matches.

This is not a good sign for Arsenal, who already lack a creative midfielder at the center.

It will likely be a hard game for the Gunners in their next few matches until the Ghana international return.

The only experienced midfielder available that could replace Partey in the team is Mesut Ozil, but the Gunners have refused to play him in any game since lockdown was lifted, tonight wouldn’t be an exceptional.
