Premier League side, Arsenal have been linked with a move for Real Madrid forward Marco Asensio as they plan to shake off a bad start to the season.

Arsenal are currently going through a bad season after losing their first three matches without scoring a goal.

Mikel Arteta’s side were beaten 5 nil by Manchester City on Saturday afternoon just days after they were beaten at home by Chelsea.

Reports have now claimed Arsenal are setting their eyes on Marco Asensio who does not feature in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans and is available for £34m .

According to The Sun, Arsenal are eager to add Asensio to their squad despite being the highest spender in the Premier League.

Transfermarketweb also reported that Asensio has emerged as a target for Arsenal despite bringing in Martin Odegaard from the Spanish side.

Arsenal have been consistent in doing business with Real Madrid this past season bringing in Dani Ceballos on loan for two full seasons.

Asensio’s place under Carlo Ancelotti is not certain and he might be convinced to leave the Spanish giant this summer.
