The news about Soares’ exit was made public by Italian football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

In a tweet via his X handle on Tuesday, Romano also disclosed that clubs across Europe see Soares as a ‘top’ target and could make moves for him in the summer.

“Cédric Soares will leave Arsenal as free agent in the summer, decision made,” he tweeted.

“Portuguese RB remains fully committed to the club until June as top professional then he will leave #AFC.
