Arsenal have been handed a transfer boost ahead of the summer window after Brazil forward Luiz Henrique revealed he would like to play at Emirates.

Henrique opened made his interest to play for Arsenal known while praising manager Mikel Arteta’s side, revealing he has already spoken to two of the club’s key players.

The Brazil international, who plays from the right flank, started his career at Fluminense, joining the club at just nine years old before progressing through the academy ranks and making his senior debut in 2020.

He has now expressed his admiration for the Gunners style under Arteta.

“I really like Arsenal, the way they play, aggressive. They play a lot on the left and right, so I’m keen to play for Arsenal,” he told Flashscore.

“I’ve already spoken to Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli, they say the team is excellent, they really like (coach) Arteta, they say he’s always listening to the players. God willing, I’d like to have the opportunity to work with him,” he added.

Henrique’s interest in Arsenal comes as the Gunners look forward to reinforcing their attack in the summer window ahead of next season.
