As Euro 2024 approaches, Premier League clubs continue to engage in transfer activities. Here’s a look at the latest movements and speculations in the transfer market.
Manchester United academy graduate Omari Forson has signed with Serie A club Monza on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with the Red Devils. According to BBC Sport, Forson’s new deal with Monza extends until the summer of 2028, indicating the club’s strong belief in his potential to become a key player.
Forson, an adaptable attacking player, can operate as a left-winger, right-winger, or number ten. Born in London to Ghanaian parents, he is eligible to represent both England and Ghana at the senior international level, although he has played for England at youth level. During his time with Manchester United, he made four appearances.
North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are both eyeing a move for Nottingham Forest defender Murillo ahead of the summer transfer window, according to FootballTransfers.
At just 21 years old, Murillo has already demonstrated his capability to perform in the Premier League. He made 32 appearances for Nottingham Forest in the 2023/24 season, contributing two assists and establishing himself as one of the team’s most valuable players. Given his potential and current form, Murillo is expected to command a transfer fee of around £65 million.
