Arsenal are trying to bring in a goalkeeper this summer but things are not working out according to plan as they’ve not been able to sign their target.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with for Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United this summer but they are yet to get the green light.

Arsenal have not been able to agree a transfer fee Sheffield United who value the Englishman in excess of £30m.

With the move not looking like one that will be completed anytime soon, Arsenal have now identified Neto as a perfect replacement.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the London club are willing to sign Neto who has been Barcelona’s second goalkeeper ever since he joined in 2019.

The report claimed Arsenal are willing to go for Brazilian who will be available for a much lower fee than Ramsdale.

Neto who is currently 32-year-old has played on 17 occasions for the Catalan giants, with Marc-Andre ter Stegen still the undisputed number one.

He has also played for Juventus, Florentina and Valencia in a well travelled career.
