Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta in a recent statement confirmed that the English Premier League trophy will be at Emirates Stadium when they play against Everton in their final match of the season.

The North London have a slim chance of winning the title if Manchester City drop points against West Ham at Etihad Stadium.

Despite seeing Man City beat Tottenham Hotspur to go top of the table, Arteta believes Arsenal can come out on top on the final day of the season.

While addressing the Spanish media, Arteta said the nice part about this season is that the Gunners are fighting for the title until the last day.

The Gunners manager added that it would be the first time that the Premier League trophy will be there waiting at the Emirates Stadium since it was built, with red ribbons on it, because if Arsenal win and Man City lose to West Ham, then the trophy stays at North London.

Arsenal will be hoping to lift the Premier League title for the first time in 20 years. They were close to winning it last season before losing it to Man City towards the end of the season.
