Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santos has reacted to his side’s defeat to Arsenal on Saturday.

Santos in a statement singled out three Arsenal players for applause following his side’s Premier League loss.

He watched as goals from Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey and Ethan Nwaneri secured three points for Mikel Arteta’s side over Nottingham Forest.

Addressing the press during his post-match conference, Santos said the likes of Martin Odegaard, Saka and Leandro Trossard gave his team problems at Emirates Stadium.

Santos said there is a lot of quality players in Arsenal and when they are involved in the game, it becomes harder to win

“Ode is one of them. Trossard created problems and Saka created problems. You cannot give time to players to decide so freely,” he added.

The outcome put Nottingham Forest at the seventh spot on the league table while Arsenal are at the fourth position.
