Roma midfielder Manu Kone has addressed growing speculation surrounding his future amid reports linking him with a summer move to Arsenal.

The 25-year-old enjoyed a solid campaign in Serie A, making 37 appearances for Roma and contributing two goals and three assists. His performances have reportedly attracted the attention of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who is keen to strengthen his midfield options ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Recent reports from Italy suggest that Arsenal have already held discussions with Kone’s representatives and reached an agreement on personal terms. It is claimed that Roma could demand a fee in the region of £43 million before considering a sale.

Despite the increasing transfer speculation, Kone has remained focused on his international commitments with France. The midfielder is currently part of Didier Deschamps’ squad and has made it clear that his immediate priority is the national team rather than his club future.

Speaking about the rumours, Kone downplayed the transfer talk, insisting that his attention is firmly on helping France as they prepare for next year’s World Cup. While he was an unused substitute during France’s recent 3-1 victory over Senegal, he remains determined to establish himself within the national setup.

Arsenal supporters will undoubtedly continue monitoring developments closely, especially as the club looks to strengthen its squad this summer. However, for now, Kone appears unwilling to be distracted by transfer discussions, choosing instead to concentrate on his international ambitions and preparations for the World Cup.
