Madueke makes debut for Arsenal vs Villarreal

Former Chelsea star Noni Madueke made his debut appearance for his new club Arsenal on Wednesday when they played against Spanish La Liga side Villarreal.
Arsenal supporters finally had the chance to watch all of their new signings on Wednesday, with Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, Cristhian Mosquera, Christian Norgaard and Kepa Arrizabalaga all getting minutes on the pitch.
Norgaard scored a goal in the Gunners 3-2 defeat to the La Liga side, which was followed by a loss in a penalty shoot-out.
Madueke was the last summer signing to get a chance to play and made his first appearance since arriving at Emirates from Chelsea in a £48.5 million switch.
The Englishman made a cameo appearance, play for just 13 minutes after replacing Gabriel Martinelli late on and missed his penalty in the shoot-out, ultimately giving Villarreal the victory on spot-kicks.
Recall that some Arsenal fans had express disappointment in the club’s decision to sign Madueke from Chelsea.
However, his debut for Arsenal appeared to have made some fans have a change of opinion about him.
Hopefully, the England international will impress when he finally gets a chance to make his first start for Arsenal.
