Arsenal are in the transfer market for a midfielder, and they’ve been linked with top stars, including their former player, Aaron Ramsey.

Ramsey left Arsenal on a free transfer after spending 11 years at the London club, but things have not worked out for him at Juventus.

The Wales international has been forced to spend most of his time on the bench and has been strongly linked with a move back to Arsenal this week.

However, his agent David Baldwin has shut down those rumours on social media.

Baldwin, while replying to a tweet suggesting Ramsey was returning to the Gunners stated that there is not a shred of truth in the report.

He urged people to stop making things up, adding that the tweet or the report’s sources were incorrect.

Ramsey’s 11 years at Arsenal saw him score 40 goals in 262 appearances from midfield; he also won three FA Cups and won the Community Shield twice.

The Welsh International has endured a difficult period in Italy, scoring only six times in all competitions across two seasons for Juventus.

Another player that would likely turn down a return to Arsenal is Germany football star, Mesut Ozil.
