Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola in a recent statement has revealed his side have to keep winning their remaining match to be sure of lifting the Premier League trophy this season.

Guardiola made this known in a statement via Sky Sports after their 5-1 victory over Wolves on Saturday.

The outcome saw Man City close the gap to Arsenal to one point after the Gunners led by Mikel Arteta defeated Bournemouth 3-0 in the early match.

Despite scoring five goals against the Wolves, the Citizens are still six behind Arsenal in goal difference.

But Guardiola has stated that his side wouldn’t win the league that way.

According to Man City manager winning by goal difference is not possible as his side cannot draw.

He also pointed out that Arsenal have been playing with impressive form and consistency.
