EPL: Three games Arsenal must win to stand a chance

Former Arsenal star Paul Merson has listed three different match the club must win to win the Premier League title this season.

This comes as the Gunners are set to play against Wolves on Saturday with two points behind leaders Manchester City.

Recall that Arsenal lost a grip of winning the title when they failed to move to the top of the league table last weekend after they suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa.

Merson, however, believe they still stand a chance to unseat Man City to win the title this season.

While speaking to Sky Sports, the former football star stressed that all hope is not lost for his former club.

He said: “There is a small glimmer of hope for Arsenal.

“They have three games in the next week or so against Wolves, Chelsea and Tottenham. If they win these three games they have every chance of finishing the season with the Premier League title.

“They are certainly capable of doing that, but it is now down to the players and how they react to these setbacks.”

Recall that Arsenal were also kicked out of the Champions League tournament by German side Bayern Munich during the week.
