EPL: Arteta warns players after 5-2 win against West Ham
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has reacted to his side’s performance against West Ham on Saturday.
Arteta in a post-match statement warned his players on the need to learn how to manage games better.
According to the Gunners boss, his players made the match against the Hammers “crazy”.
Recall that Arsenal took the lead with a 4-0 difference before allowing in two quick goals to give the Hammers hope.
But Bukayo Saka came through for the Gunners, crashing the host side’s home to score from the penalty spot to settle the contest.
Arteta in a statement via BBC Match of the Day side his side made it crazy, we played so well at the start of the game.
The Gunners manager stated that his side scored three early goals and then scored one immediately after kick-off and then another one.
“We have to manage the game – we did that really well. The last two games were tricky and to score goals is a big one,” Arteta told his players.
The Gunners win against the Hammers have seen them move to the second spot on the Premier League table above Man City, who they have lost the title to on two occasions.
