As the Premier League return this weekend, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and his squad will be looking forward to winning all three points from the match.

Ahead of the game, Arteta in a press conference revealed Aaron Ramsdale will man the goal for Arsenal against Brentford.

Ramsdale will start for Arsenal because David Raya who Arteta prefers can’t play against his parent club.

Recall that the Gunners signed Raya on a loan transfer from Brentford in the recent summer transfer window.

When asked if Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal, Arteta during his pre-match conference affirmed, saying:
“Yes.”

Areta, when asked if there’s a difference in Ramsdale’s mood when he knows he’s starting, said:
“No, I think every player is willing to play. They’re all excited to play. They’re always expecting to play. Sometimes there’s disappointment the day before or a few hours before the match, but every player is willing to play.”
