EPL: Arsenal coach reacts to loss vs Man City

Arsenal went head to head against Man City in the Premier League on Saturday, and it was an exciting match.

The Gunners did their best against the EPL toppers, but it was not enough as the game ended with zero points for the North London club.

In a post-match statement, Arsenal’s assistant manager, Albert Stuivenberg, revealed that the Gunners manager Mikel Arteta was “frustrated” with his team’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester City.

Arteta was unavailable during Saturday’s clash against Man City as he had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the week.

In his place, his assistant Stuivenberg was in the home dugout against Man City.

“Mikel has the same feelings as me,” Stuivenberg said at his post-match press conference.

“He is frustrated after the performance and seeing the development of the team from the start of the season to now.”

He added, “Are we able to compete against one of the best teams in the world? And we were. We also showed guts and played the game we wanted in the first half. In the end it is frustrating to end with zero points.”

Man City remain seated at the top of the league and remain the favourite to win the EPL title again this season.
