Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has taken full responsibility for the club’s worst start to a Premier League season as he urged his players to put everything on the line to arrest their slump.

The Premier league giants suffered their fourth loss in five league matches on Sunday after going down 1-0 at home to Burnley, leaving them 15th in the standings with 13 points.

This result have raised eyebrows among their fans across the globe as some are skeptical of the club future under the guidance of Mikel Arteta just 12 months after he replaced Unai Emery at the Emirates Stadium.

Speaking to reporters ahead of Wednesday’s league clash against Southampton, Arteta stated that he feel the pressure all the time and it will always exist.

Arteta stated that the whole squad will have to face it by being brave.

He noted that it’s not time to hide but it’s time to put their face and your body on the line

Arteta added by stating that at this moment, he’s sorry but players will have to take the bullets. They are not winning football matches and the players have to put their chest there and (say) ‘hit me’ because you have the right.

He concluded by stating that he wants to think that the team can get better but they need to start winning.
