Arteta reacts to Arsenal’s summer signing injury

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed his biggest challenge this summer which is a possible dip in the club’s performance following Jurrien Timber’s injury.

This is coming after the Dutch star, who they signed during the ongoing summer transfer window injured his ACL.

With the looks of things, Timber could miss the rest of the season.

Speaking to the press ahead of his side weekend’s activities, Arteta said, “We didn’t plan with this injury.

“We have to assess now what the best options are to get the best out of the players we have.

“My biggest challenge is to get the best out of the players we have.

“I cannot control anything that is not here.

“We are always open to reacting if something happens, not only with an injury but with the market as well. That’s what we are doing.”

Timber’s injury is a big blow for Arsenal who would be playing in the Champions League this season.
