Arsenal working towards winning Champions league within two years

Arsenal player, Martin Odeegard in a recent statement, has said the North London club is working towards winning the Champions League in a couple of years.

Recall that Arsenal lost out to play in any European league this season after they finished outside the top six on the Premier League table last season.

They have also not played in the Uefa Champions League since 2017, and their performance so far this season has shown they could be headed for relegation.

However, Odeegard, who recently signed a permanent deal with Gunners, believe they still have all it takes to return to European football.

Odeegard during an interview with Sky Sports spoke about his ambition where he said he is at the club to help them get near or to the top of the table and also fight for European football and fight for trophies.

“I think for this season obviously we want to get back to European football. That will be important for us, the players, the club and the fans.

“Then hopefully with time, win trophies, Champions League and hopefully win the league within a couple of years,” he said.
