Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Tim Sherwood has hailed Arsenal forward, Leandro Trossard over his impressive form in the Gunners’ UEFA Champions League 4-0 victory over PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday.

According to Sherwood, Trossard was absolutely outstanding for the North London against PSV at the Emirates.

Trossard made it to the score sheet as Mikel Arteta’s side recorded their first win in the Champions League this season.

“Trossard, what a signing he’s been. What is he? Less than £30 million and he’s coming in for Martinelli who is out injured,” Sherwood said on Sky Sports (h/t The Boot Room).

“He just affects football matches, scores another great goal tonight and the assist as well. He is absolutely outstanding and I think Mikel has got a great group of players there.”

Trossard moved to Emirate Stadium from Brighton & Hove Albion in January for £27 million.

So far, he has scored four goals and created 11 assists in 27 matches across competitions for Arsenal.
