Arsenal have reportedly identified Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers as one of their leading transfer priorities this summer, with the club expected to make an approach in the coming weeks.

The 23-year-old England international has emerged as a key target for Mikel Arteta as Arsenal look to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new season. Rogers is highly regarded for his versatility, with the ability to operate as an attacking midfielder, a No.10, or on the left wing, making him an attractive option for the Gunners.

Reports suggest Arsenal’s interest is genuine and that the club are preparing to test Aston Villa’s determination to keep hold of one of their most influential players. While Villa are aware of Rogers’ ambitions and the growing interest surrounding him, they remain keen to retain the forward as they prepare for another Champions League campaign in the 2026/27 season.

Personal terms are not expected to be a stumbling block should negotiations progress, with Rogers believed to be open to a move to north London. However, convincing Villa to sell may prove to be the most difficult part of any potential deal.

Arsenal’s recruitment team continue to explore several attacking options this summer, but Rogers appears to be among the club’s preferred choices. His age, Premier League experience, versatility and continued development make him an ideal fit for Arteta’s long-term vision.

With the transfer window gathering momentum, Arsenal supporters will be watching closely to see whether the club can turn their interest in Rogers into one of the headline signings of the summer.
