Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is set to be named the new manager of Championship side Bournemouth as the club believes they have convinced him.

Thierry Henry has a good career as a footballer and it wasn’t surprising when he decided to join the leagues of former players to try their shot at coaching.

The world cup winner spent time working as an assistant to Roberto Martinez in the Belgium setup, before taking over at Monaco in 2018 but his spell at the club was short.

Thierry Henry who is currently the manager of Major League Soccer club Montréal is now ready to take over the wheel at Bournemouth ahead of his former Arsenal team-mate Patrick Vieira, John Terry and former Huddersfield boss David Wagner.

Bournemouth managerial seat became vacant when Jason Tindall, who took over from Eddie Howe after the Cherries were relegated, was sacked by Bourwasnttreal in November 2019, signing a two-year contract.

It’s still not clear if Henry will be making the move but he will be joining Wayne Rooney in the league if he eventually moves.
