Arsenal are set to let go of Joe Willock on a permanent deal this summer as Newcastle United are reportedly inching closer to signing the youngster.

Willock was sent out on loan to Newcastle United for six months last season and he was on top of his game under Steve Bruce.

The youngster played 14 games for the Magpies netting eight goals along the way.

He also joined the list of players to have scored in seven successive Premier League games during his good form.

Newcastle have been willing to sign him on a permanent deal ever since the transfer window opened but they’ve not been able to struck a deal with Arsenal.

However, a new report by Sky Sports states Joe Willock appears set to make his way to Newcastle United once again before the summer transfer window slams shut.

The report claimed Newcastle have reached an agreement over a £25 million fee with Arsenal and the deal will be completed in the next few days.
