Arsenal and Manchester United Monitoring Rising Bosnian Star

Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly among several clubs keeping a close eye on highly rated Bosnian youngster Kerim Alajbegović, although a move to Italy is currently viewed as the most likely next step in the teenager’s development.
The 18-year-old forward has emerged as one of Europe’s most exciting young talents following an impressive loan spell with Red Bull Salzburg. His performances attracted widespread attention, prompting Bayer Leverkusen to activate an €8 million buy-back clause to bring him back to Germany ahead of the new season.
Despite recently signing a long-term contract with Leverkusen, interest in Alajbegović continues to grow. The versatile attacker is capable of playing on either wing or as a second striker, combining technical quality, creativity, and physical strength beyond his years.
During his breakthrough campaign in Austria, Alajbegović registered 13 goals and four assists in all competitions, demonstrating both consistency and maturity. His strong performances earned him recognition at international level, resulting in senior appearances for Bosnia and Herzegovina and further enhancing his reputation across Europe.
While Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are understood to be monitoring his situation, several Italian clubs are believed to be leading the race for his signature. Many observers feel that a move to Serie A could provide the ideal environment for the young forward to continue his development before potentially making the step to one of Europe’s biggest leagues.
For now, Alajbegović’s immediate future remains with Bayer Leverkusen, but with interest from some of Europe’s most prominent clubs, his progress will be closely watched throughout the coming months.
