Former Chelsea star, Emmanuel Petit, has sent a message to Arsenal about their transfer plans.

Petit advised the North London club to sign Rodrygo Goes from Spanish club Real Madrid.

The former Chelsea man opined that the Brazilian is being underrated at Real Madrid and does not get the attention he deserves at Santiago Bernabeu.

According to Petit, the Brazil star has been overshadowed by the other top players at the club like Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.

Speaking with Genting Casino😀, Petit said Rodrygo has quality to be a great player.

He stressed that if the Gunners cannot sign Williams, then they need to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid.

Petit said the Brazilian reminds him a bit of Sylvain Wiltord when he was at Arsenal.

The former Blues star believes Rodrygo would be a star at the Emirates Stadium and be an amazing player who can play across all three positions across the front line.

“In any case, he could be an absolute superstar for Arsenal and I rate him very much. He scores goals, gives assists and gives great energy on the pitch,” he added.

It is unknown if Arsenal led by manager Mikel Arteta would be willing to make a move for Rodrygo.
