Arsenal £72 million star linked to Saudi Arabia

Arsenal forward Nicolas Pepe could be the latest player to leave the English Premier League for the Saudi Pro League this summer transfer window.

The recent reports in France claimed an unnamed Saudi Arabia club have shown interest in signing the Ivory Coast star.

RMC Sport journalist, Fabrice Hawkins in a statement revealed the Gunners are also willing to let him leave and are now negotiating a transfer fee for the winger.

Recall that 26-year-old Pepe moved to the north London club in a then-club-record £72million transfer from French Ligue 1 side Lille back in 2019.

As of now, he has just one year remaining on his contract with the Gunners.

Arsenal are keen on selling Pepe this summer following his spell on loan with Nice last season.

Meanwhile, Pepe had previously rejected the offer to join Besiktas.

There are speculations he could agree to move to Saudi once an offer is submitted for him.
