Former Chelsea player Alan Hudson has urged Frank Lampard to make a decisive decision on Billy Gilmour as he noted that the youngster need more playing time with the senior team.

Chelsea have been in some bad form for the past few weeks but they were able to redeem themselves with an impressive performance against Morcambe by winning 4 nil.

One of the best performer of the match was Gilmour who controlled the midfield and made sure the back four was well shielded.

His performance has sparked a lot of reactions from top players as they hope Frank Lampard will give him chance despite his star studded midfield.

Speaking exclusively to CaughtOffside Alan Hudson joined in the conversation by advising Frank Lampard to hand Billy Gilmour a long run in the starting lineup.

Hudson who made a name for himself while rocking the blue jersey noted that Gilmour has a big future ahead of him and is going places as he’s a fine footballer.

Gilmour will be hoping he make Frank Lampard team when Chelsea host fellow London club Fulham who have been putting in some impressive performance ever since they got promotion back to the Premier League.
