Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham has offered some explanations on why some of the Blues summer signings have not been performing at the highest level.

Frank Lampard was the highest spender during the last transfer window as he brought in German duo, Kai Havertz, and Timo Werner as well as Thiago Silva, Eduardo Mendy, and some young players.

Thiago Silva and Eduardo Mendy have hit the ground running but Kai Havertz and Timo Werner who cost the club more money have not been showing their potentials ever since the season started.

Their performance has raised eyebrows but Abraham believes the team is still getting to grips with the club’s new signings, which may explain their inconsistent form.

Abraham while speaking to the club official website noted that the team has hardly had any time to train together and to work out how each other plays so they are just taking every day as it comes at the moment. Abraham told the Chelsea website.

He stated that every game the team play, they are learning new things about each other.

According to Abraham, he’s just starting to understand them more and they’re starting to understand him more so hopefully they drive each other and be the best they can be.
