Former Chelsea coach to replace Tuchel at PSG
French Ligue 1 champion Paris Saint-Germain are eyeing former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri to replace Thomas Tuchel who was dismissed some hours ago.
Thomas Tuchel was shown the exit door just months after he led Paris Saint-Germain to the UEFA Champions League final which they lost against high flying Bayern Munich by a single goal margin.
With Ligue 1 currently on a break, PSG are eager to get an experienced coach that will not just win titles but play entertaining football that will match the likes of Bayern Munich and Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola is currently not available as he does not look like a manager leaving Manchester City anytime soon and so Maurizio Sarri has become their biggest target.
Sarri proved his worth at Napoli and Chelsea but was sacked by Juventus despite winning the Seria A title but Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly not considering that.
The French Champion are eager to have a taste of the famous Sarri ball and this could win him the job ahead of former Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino who has also been tipped for the vacant job.
The coming days will surely be a defining week for Sarri and some members of his coaching crew as he has not hiden his intentions of getting back to the pitch as soon as possible.
