Transfer Deal: Arsenal told to resign this Chelsea forward

With the January transfer window a few weeks away, Arsenal have been tipped to resign France international, Olivier Giroud from Chelsea.

Recall that former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger brought Giroud to Arsenal in 2012 where he played for six years with more than 100 goals to his name in all competition. He, however, moved to Chelsea in 2018.

Since joining Chelsea, Giroud has continued to maintain his impressive performance as he already has 6 goals to his name in his last 5 appearances for the Blues.

Despite this, the 35-year-old French player has been linked with transfer moves in January.

For this reason, former football star, Louis Saha, who shared the dressing room with coach Mikel Arteta when they were both at Everton, has urged Arsenal to resign the Frenchman.

When asked whether Arsenal should consider a move for Giroud, Saha told Genting Bet: ‘Olivier Giroud could be a good option for Arsenal if they were to resign him. He is a top striker. ‘He might not always give you the style that you want but he is always questioned and stands up to answer them. Any side in England would love to have a Giroud on top form in their team.’

However, with Giroud’s performance so far this season, it will quite certain that the Blues will block any move to sign him in January.
