Man Utd interest in this AC Milan player takes a positive turn

Man Utd could be welcoming a new player in the January transfer window as their interest in AC Milan’s player Hakan Calhanoglu appear to have taken a positive turn.

The Red Devils who are keen on adding a new player to their midfield may have finally found the one to sign.

A report had earlier suggested that United had a 90% chance of signing Calhanoglu on a free transfer in January, the Sky Germany are now reporting that there are no negotiations yet about a contract extension between Hakan Calhanoglu and AC Milan.

With this, it is believed that Calhanoglu could be on his way to Old Trafford as the report further stated that several conversations have been held between the Red Devils and the player’s entourage.

While the financial aspects are still to be clarified, the main issue now is how United would be able to assure Calhanoglu of getting playing chances in the midfield considering the fact that Bruno Fernandes is in form.

On the part of Calhanoglu, he would have to choose between remaining at San Siro or moving to Old Trafford where he would become a second fiddle to Fernandes.
