Deal AGREED: Rennes star accepts five-year contract with Chelsea

Edouard Mendy has supposedly agreed a five-year contract with Chelsea ahead of a proposed move to Stamford Bridge during this present summer’s transfer window.

Rennes president Nicolas Holveck has affirmed that his club are in talks with Chelsea over Edouard Mendy, who despite everything has three years left to run on his contract in France.

Nicolas Holveck, however, was interested to push that an agreement between each of the three parties presently couldn’t seem to be reached.

As per report, the 28-year-old has agreed personal terms on a five-year manage Frank Lampard’s side, who have been very dynamic during the current transfer window.

Notwithstanding, the report asserts that the Blues are still £7.4m shy of Rennes’ £25.9m valuation.

Prior this week, the Rennes skipper Damien Da Silva proposed that his teammate was very close to a move to the West London club.
