Deal AGREED: Chelsea, AC Milan agree in principle over signing midfielder

Chelsea midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko’s set to attempt to his luck at AC Milan once more after the two clubs agreed in principle over a loan with a choice to buy next season. This is a comparable agreement to two years back.

As announced all along and affirmed by different transfer oracles yesterday, the arrangement includes an insignificant €3m loan fee with an alternative to buy for €30m.

Tiémoué Bakayoko’s past loans, to AC Milan and AS Monaco also had buy alternatives, so we should not get too amped up for that chance.

The 26-year-old spent an amazing season in Milan several years prior, and keeping in mind that a portion of the central actors have changed since,  including head coach Gennaro Gattuso, who’s going to Napoli some time back, the expectation is that Tiémoué Bakayoko will have the option to repeat his success.

Tiémoué Bakayoko has two years left on his Chelsea contract, so this would truly be an ideal time for some team to pay a transfer fee for the 26-year-old midfielder.
