Kai Havertz has recently completed a medical with Chelsea ahead of his £90m move from Bayer Leverkusen to Stamford Bridge, as indicated by reports in Germany.

Chelsea will pay Bayer Leverkusen £72m upfront plus a further £18m add-ons after the Blues have agreed a club-record fee to sign Kai Havertz.

As indicated by report, the 21-year-old had a medical with Chelsea in London on Sunday before joining Germany’s national team the next day.

Kai Havertz is set to become Chelsea’s 6th new signing this summer’s transfer window after Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr joined the club.

Kai Havertz is at present with Germany’s national team planning for their forthcoming games against Spain and Switzerland.

The exceptionally rated young midfielder is required to arrive at Chelsea one week from now ahead of their new Premier League season, which starts against Brighton on September 14.
