Chelsea reportedly given 10 days to sort out deal for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker

Premier League side, Chelsea have reportedly been given just 10 days to finalise a deal for Bayern Leverkusen player, Kai Havertz.

Chelsea are trying to strengthen their squad after a difficult season that saw them finish in forth place.

The Blues have not hidden their intention of signing the German midfielder as they hope to strengthen their team ahead of the new season set to commence soon.

According to reports circulating in Germany, Bayer Leverkusen want a deal done before they start their pre-season training and the Germans are demanding £90million, but Chelsea are only willing to pay £70million.

This might put further dent on the deal but
Bayer Leverkusen have however given Chelsea a deadline of August 28 to complete their move for the young midfielder.

Bayer Leverkusen pre-season training starting on August 28, and want to make sure any deal is done before then so they can finalise plans for the upcoming season.

Should Chelsea be able to complete the signing of Havertz, he will join the list of their latest signings, which includes Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner.
