Man Utd block striker’s move to Premier League club

Manchester United remain keen in letting their forwards Marcus Rashford leave this January transfer window, however, they wouldn’t agree to a deal for him to their rivals.

Recent reports revealed Manchester United’s power brokers will not back a transfer to their Premier League clubs for Marcus Rashford.

Recall that 27-year-old star had already admitted he is willing to take on “a new challenge.”

This saw significant interest from top clubs within England and across Europe for Rashford.

Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe is not willing to permit a switch to their rivals.

This is a transfer blow for Premier League sides like Chelsea, Tottenham, and West Ham, who have shown interest in bring Rashford on board.

Going by Man Utd’s new stance, there are speculations that Rashford would be joining a club outside the Premier League in the coming weeks.

The Red Devils are aware they will have to supplement a major part of Rashford’s £350,000-a-week wages to get him off their books this January.

With this, Ratcliffe is not ready to assist a rival in finishing above Manchester United by the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Italian side AC Milan have been named favourite to secure a deal for the English star and have held talks with his agents but no agreement has been reached.
