Liverpool will remained at the table until after the international break, following their narrow 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

The Reds led by manager Arne Slot won all three points at Selhurst Park, thanks to Diogo Jota’s first-half goal.

Liverpool now have 18 points from seven fixtures and are considered one of the strong contenders for the Premier League title this season.

In Man City’s game, former Chelsea midfielder, Mateo Kovacic scored either side of half time as Pep Guardiola side edged a 3-2 win over Fulham at home.

The win saw the Premier League champions retain their second spot on the table, ahead of Arsenal on goal difference.

Manager Mikel Arteta’s led Gunners side came back from one goal down to defeat Southampton 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium, as they remain determined to unseat Man City this season.

Recall that the North London club have lost two opportunities to win the league title in a row, as Guardiola side beat them to it.

However, with the look of things, Arsenal will not have to focus on only Man City as their rival but also Liverpool who are looking dangerous with each game played.
