Europa League: Man Utd receive boost Vs Porto

Manchester United have been handed two major boosts ahead of their match against FC Porto in the UEFA Europa League.

The recent update from the Red Devils’ showed that Kobbie Mainoo has returned to training, after he limped out of their 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur last Sunday.

Mainoo was joined by former Man Utd’s captain Harry Maguire was unavailable during the game against the North London club due to a minor knock.

The duo are now likely to be available when the Red Devils play against Porto on Thursday.

Manager Erik ten Hag has also received positive news about former Chelsea star Mason Mount, with the midfielder’s injury now confirmed as not being a concussion.

Meanwhile, Man Utd  have lost three of their opening six Premier League match and drew 1-1 with Dutch side Twente in their first Europa League fixture.

The Red Devils are currently seated at the 13th spot on the league table and their chances off finishing the top four or top six looks difficult with Chelsea, Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool ready to compete with Man City this season.

Man Utd will hope to bounce back with a win when they play against Porto on Thursday.
