Chelsea, Liverpool contemplating move for Bayern Munich defender

Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba has apparently appeared as a potential transfer target for Chelsea and Liverpool.

David Alaba has spent nine years at the Allianz Arena and he could move to an alternative club this summer if he fails he current contract.

The talented left-back has a year left on his current contract, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have all been connected with the 27-year-old.

Chelsea and Liverpool may also enter the race to sign the talented left-back player.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is enthusiastic about another left-back and centre-back, and the David Alaba quest would satisfy his prerequisites in the two roles when clubs are quick to decrease outgoings due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The report proposes that Chelsea may move for David Alaba on if they couldn’t concur a deal for Leicester City full-back Ben Chilwell.

Chelsea have already signed Timo Werner from RB Leipzig and Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and presently chasing Leicester City left back Ben Chilwell.
