Brazil club make move for Chelsea defender

Chelsea ace defender Thiago Silva has been linked with moves to Brazil sign Fluminense.

The recent report revealed Fluminense are ready to get a deal done with the defender.

This is coming after Silva in a statement on Monday confirmed that he would be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, after a four-year deal.

As of now there claims the 39-year-old will not make any appearance for the Blues after he sustained a groin injury against Aston Villa last weekend.

With less than three weeks to the end of the season, Sliva is not expected to play football until the Copa America in the summer.

The defender should be able to decide on if he will be continuing his career back in his homeland, or elsewhere.

This is owing to the fact that three clubs in the Premier League are said to be eyeing a deal for the Brazilian.

Recall that Silva had hinted that his two would continue to train at Chelsea academy, which means he might want to remain in England.

We would have to wait till the end of the season to know what action the defender would take.

In another report, Silva will be unavailable when Chelsea take on Tottenham in the Premier League tonight.
