Mourinho names team to win EPL, UCL

Former Chelsea and AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho has dropped his prediction on the football clubs to win the UEFA Champions League and English Premier League this season.

The Portugal international also predicted the club will win the Champions League this term.

This season’s Premier League has less than 14 matches to be played, while the Champions League is currently in its last-16.

Mourinho tipped one of Manchester City or Liverpool to win the Premier League title, while he predicted Manchester City and Spanish side Real Madrid to win the Champions League trophy.

Providing his predictions on the FIVE podcast, Mourinho said: ‘’Premier League… City or Liverpool, so I’m not making a mistake. But I think City.”

He added, “Champions League… I would say City or Real Madrid.

“If somebody outside wins it that would be a great surprise for me.
