Chelsea manager speaks on what club would do with win vs Tottenham

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino in a post-match statement spoke on what his side would do with their deserved win vs Tottenham Hotspur.

The Blues ended the Hotspurs’ undefeated run in the Premier League on Monday night with a 4-1 win.

Pochettino said Chelsea will now use the match to build their confidence.

He said in a statement via football.london : “A team arrived like Chelsea, we are still building something, we need time to come against a team full of confidence and after to concede after we started the game really bad.

“We were calm after and forced them to make a mistake. It’s true we concede some chances that we cannot concede that we can assess the performance.

“Of course, we need to control better. We are building our confidence and need to be more relaxed in the way that we play.”

Chelsea are now seated in 10th position in the table, and will now focus on their next game when they play host to Man City on November 12.
