Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed details about Bukayo Saka’s injury during the club’s UCL clash vs Lens on Tuesday.

Arteta in a post-match statement said Saka tried to backheel the ball in the first half and felt something, it was something muscular and he was uncomfortable to carry on so we had to take him off.

Speaking on the seriousness of Saka’s injury, Arteta said:
“We don’t know anything more than that, obviously it was big enough not to allow him to continue to play the game and that’s obviously a worry for us.”

The manager added that he doesn’t know if Saka will be fit enough to feature this Sunday vs Manchester City.

Speaking on if Bukayo’s injury was related to any knocks he picked up recently,
They were more knocks than any other thing. The last few that he had, he hasn’t really missed games. We gave him a break against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, and that was all.
